Incorporated in 1974 as a Florida 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, the Central Florida Jazz Society was created to:
- Preserve JAZZ as America’s original contribution to the arts – from Dixieland and big-band swing to soulful blues, rich ballads and hot contemporary rhythms
- Present monthly concerts in which our membership can hear and enjoy various forms of the JAZZ art
- Promote live jazz music and local JAZZ musicians in Central Florida through our bimonthly publication, Blue Notes
- Provide scholarships for deserving young musicians and assistance for JAZZ education in the community
Thousands of devotees throughout America keep JAZZ alive through membership in clubs like the Central Florida Jazz Society. JAZZ needs non-artists, as well as artists and educators, to appreciate and support its creations. Join today and keep JAZZ alive!
