“Kandace has a voice that could melt snow.” – Prince
From Nashville lounge performer to global headliner, acclaimed singer, songwriter and pianist Kandace Springs brings her velvety voice and soulful blend of jazz, R&B and pop to her Judson’s Live debut.
Inspired by artists like Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald and Norah Jones, she has headlined the Newport, Monterey and North Sea Jazz festivals and a sold-out performance at Carnegie Hall. Prince was one of her biggest champions, inviting her to perform at Paisley Park after hearing her cover of “The Beautiful Ones.” Since then, Kandace has shared the stage with artists including Norah Jones and Roy Hargrove.
Hear songs from her catalog along with selections from her latest album, Lady in Satin, a lush tribute to Billie Holiday recorded with the 60-piece Orquestra Clássica de Espinho.
